July 4 2010!!! Time for an update I believe

Hello my dear Friends of Nepal.

Long time since I used this blog/site. In the meantime I have and am using a different blog (sanghita, reismee.nl), but now it is time to update also this site.

As most of you know I am now working in Italy as a courier for Vacansoleil. This means: taking care of 31 tents on the campsite Villagio Turistico C'era una Volta and all the guests coming over for their holiday here.
Why I now am updating this site?
Because with many guests I have been talking about Nepal and many of you were interested in learning more about it.
In the meantime I found out that the FTP (????) was not working anymore, so I had to change a few things, hoping it will still work.

The more I am talking with guests here about Nepal the more homesick I get. And.... the more determined to try again to go back 'home' in February to my children, my friends and beautiful Nepal!!!

I also need to update my bankaccount details. Also many of you were so kind to ask for my account number, so you can make a donation for Nepal. Also that is a reason the more to go back!!! Probably this was the 'kick under my but' I needed to start to make time to work on it again and not just only talk.

But here are first my bankdetails:
Rita van de Zande
p/a Berkesingel 4
7201 BL Zutphen
Holland
Bank account: ING 750678798.
In case you want to make a donation on behalf of Nepal, please write this on the banktransfer with 'Donation Nepal', so I know exactly which amount to separate.

Soon I will publish the 3 week tour that I hope to make again in February (which I originally planned in February 2010), on which you can join me if you like. It will be a first encounter with Nepal, with sightseeing, introduction to the traditions and culture of Nepal AND visiting the 'projects' to which I have been donating before and hopefully (with your help) can keep on donating. With visiting these projects I mean: to meet the people, the children AND to help them where necessary with for example painting the classrooms, fixing the windows etc (in Chitwan).

Now for this moment I will leave it to this message, check it out if indeed my website will take this update and I will keep you informed.

On behalf of me and My children of Nepal we would like to say: Dhan dya bad (Thank you).
Sanghita (the Nepali name the children gave me) and the children of Nepal.
